ONE YEAR OF THE EXPERIMENTAL FILM CLUB
Dublin's Experimental Film Club has now been in operation for a year. Founded by Aoife Desmond, Alan Lambert, Esperanza Collado, Donal Foreman and Katie Lincoln, the EFC has presented a programme almost every month upstairs at the Ha'penny Bridge Inn. There can be no stronger tribute to the quality and diversity of EFC programming than to simply recapitulate what it has shown over the past twelve months:

In addition to these programmes, a recent offshoot of the EFC, Films Politically, has started at the autonomous social centre Seomra Spraoi. Programmed by Donal Foreman, this gives Dublin audiences the valuable opportunity of seeing a series of radical political films from the ‘60s with an engaged audience.
